Stephen McIntyre

Graduate Student — MSc

I am a graduate student at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) currently completing my MSc in computer science. I have been a member of the vialab since September 2013 co-supervised by Dr. Christopher Collins and Dr. Mikael Eklund. My research interests include health informatics, working with big data and information visualizations. After completing my MSc I plan on obtaining my doctorate in the health science domain.

I completed my undergraduate degree in 2013 earning my Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Management from Ontario Tech University. My Capstone project involved designing an RFID system for monitoring the temperature of infants in a hospital. By automating the process of taking their temperature we allow them to remain undisturbed.
