Prateek Panwar

Graduate Student – MSc

I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) field from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka, India. From the beginning till the end of my four years graduate course, I was involved in different projects and research work which boosted my interest to explore the vast field of technology. As a techno-savvy myself, I am always excited to try and learn state-of-art technologies which has given my research interest an infinite set of topics, out of which I am more inclined towards Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), BCI, Vision and Machine Learning. In addition to that, my interest also lies in the area of Web development and Parallel programming.

As a regular college student, I worked on various mini projects and developed an intranet social networking site as a major project which was successfully deployed on the college campus. Moreover, during my college period, I also worked as a visiting researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India for two and a half years and developed different “Gaze-Based Text Entry” Systems. I have published papers in reputed libraries like ACM and IEEE and was awarded for one of them.

I am pursuing my fully-funded Master’s from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada.
